Over 80% of the volume of international trade in goods is carried by sea, and the percentage is even higher for most developing countries. Zero or near-zero GHG emission technologies, fuels and/or energy sources will need to represent at least 5%, striving for 10% of the energy used by international shipping by 2030.

Various clean fuels, including ammonia, methanol, biofuels, synthetic fuels, hydrogen, and battery electric technology, present viable options, each with its unique advantages and challenges.

Join our panel of esteemed experts to discuss:

  • • How can we leverage this huge opportunity for Norway and Norwegian businesses to take a leading role in developing sustainable shipping solutions?
  • • What can the UK and Norway learn from each other when it comes to scaling zero-emission shipping?
  • • What framework conditions are needed to achieve wide-scale adoption of zero-emission fuels, at pace?
  • • How can public private partnerships accelerate zero-emission investments?

We look forward to seeing you there.
